Tournaments

The Sentinels have a very specific set of guidelines in how it fields teams for tournaments. These events can be extremely beneficial for players learning how to deal with the highs/lows of tournament play, conserving energy during downtime, staying overnight with your team in hotel, etc.

However, many of the teams that compete in tournaments train specifically for these events. If we field a team, we want to make sure we have set clear objectives, identified the appropriate coaching staff and players for the demands of the tournament, as well as insure that we can fulfill the rules and regulations. We want to do all we can to make sure the players, the parents, the coaches and the volunteers have a tournament experience that meets their expectations.

Soccer Showdown 2009

Tournament sponsored by the Penns Forest Club at Turner Valley 08/8-8/9 for U10-U14 Teams; 8/21-8/22 for U08-U10 Teams.

Kick-It Tournament

This is a 3v3 tournament that is a qualifyier to the regionals and then nationals in Disneyworld in January, 2010. It is a great tournament with different levels of competition.

Shoot To Score

4v4 tournaments held during the winter session at UPITT Cost Center; the Sentinels have fielded teams at these tournaments through the past 5 years. Good single day tournament experience
