Program Description
There are four major program types that we offer throughout the year. Our younger age groups will tend to focus on training and 3v3. Travel matches become available in the 3rd grade. For specific age group information, please look to the right hand side of this page and click on the link associated with the age group in which you are interested.
Outdoor Travel and 3v3
This program involves a training session during the week and both a team match commitment and a 3v3 session on the weekends. When a player signs up for this program, attendance at all (3) events is expected. Multiple teams may be formed in an age group and it is possible for different age groups to be combined into a single group. There will be 4 away games with travel times ranging between 20-40 minutes.
Outdoor 3v3 Only
This program is designed for the multi-sport athlete that wants to get some touches on the ball during the week but is participating in another sport and considers that sport to be dominant for that particular season. There is no travel commitment required and a player shows up whenever possible. The advantage of the 3v3 event is the player will receive 60-90 minutes of concentracted, high-paced soccer with numerous touches on the ball in a very short period of time.
Indoor Sportrak Matches
This program involves 1 match per week held at the Sportrak, an indoor soccer facility located underneath the Sewickley Bridge. Each match is 50 minutes long. Most matches are on the weekends and may start as early as 6:30am. The older age groups can matches that might start as late as 9:35pm on some weeknights.
Indoor Training
This program will involve the club hiring one of a select few of professional coaches to run training sessions for a period of 6-8 training sessions. Sessions will typically be held at one of our local school gymnasiums. It is not a requirement for players to participate in both Sportrak matches and Training. A player can choose one or the other or both.
Summer Camps
We will invite professional coaches to come in and train our players across all age groups. We will also align with other programs to increase the number of time slots available for families as they work to match their summer travel plans with training.
