I agree not to provide verbal direction on how to play a position, perform a technique or make a decision on the field to any player (including my own child) while participating in training or games.
I will not make any comments to the officials or players about the decisions made by the official(s) during the games.

I will not be affected by the consumption of alcohol or any prescribed or non‐prescribed drugs while attending an ORVFC event.
I will not sit in the player area during the games unless I am serving in the role of Coach, Assistant Coach or Manager for the season.
Role of Parent
I will communicate my child’s absence from the ORVFC training session or game in advance of the event whenever possible or if this is not possible within 24‐hours after the event has occurred.
I will arrive on time for both drop‐off and pick‐up of my child.
I will pass along to the Lead Coach any comments from my child that might help the coaches better understand how my child is reacting to the program.
I will observe all the facilities rules (especially as it pertains to parking).
I will commit to reading the ORVFC Player Management Handbook or attend (1) or more Player Management classes held monthly by ORVFC.
Role of Coach

I acknowledge that athletic development requires a thousand attempts before mastery becomes approachable.
I acknowledge that the ORVFC approach focuses on player development and that each team will compete in a league that enables a target of a .500 season.
I will advise the parents in advance of a game that I will focus on winning for the following reason(s):
The players have lost several games and a win will help their motivation;
The team is in a competitive environment beyond its capabilities and we are trying to match that level as best we can
I will not be affected by the consumption of alcohol or any prescribed or non‐prescribed drugs while attending an ORVFC event.
I will advise the parents and players on how I will rotate players through all positions throughout the season.
I will strive toward providing equal playing time throughout the season. If there is an instance where we have set out to “win” the game as mentioned in the point above, I will communicate this in advance to the players and parents.
I will offer parents observations on their child or children only.
I will dress wearing club gear when it is provided by the Club and when not in club gear I will dress appropriately.
