Vision

Club Vision Statement

The club is a not-for-profit preparatory organization managed by volunteers that guides players, families and coaches through a defined process of soccer development where...

  • Each player feels “safe” to attempt new skills during practice and match situations
  • The program design is flexible enough to permit each child to achieve progression from one skill level to the next regardless of ability level
  • All participants are able to define how they will be held accountable within their respective roles within the club

Our Long–Term Goals

The following are the goals we hope to achieve through the execution of our program design:

  • Increase the number of playing opportunities available to all children in later years by developing a strong technical skills base during the U6 - U12 years
  • Increase the number of children playing within each gender and age group in order to better execute the developmental process
  • Keep enrollment affordable to all families while building a sense of pride and connection to the club by providing top–notch fields, facilities, equipment, uniforms and superior program design

Action Steps

Tangible steps we will take to attain our vision and goals:

  • Create, document and implement a rationalized organizational structure with documented roles, policies and procedures that makes it easy to delegate the administrative work of the club into small blocks of time in order to efficiently leverage the volunteer population
  • Create, document and implement a behavior-based soccer skill development methodology executed by volunteer coaches who are trained and mentored by a Director of Coaching and a small core of professional coaches
  • Launch capital development campaign that draws from private individuals, philanthropies, government and corporate sponsors dedicated to funding youth-focused and educational endeavors.  These funds will be used to finance field and facilities, as well as subsidize certain elements of the program (coach salaries, financial awards to needy children, etc.) to help keep the registration dues accessible to as many children as possible
